A headshot is a calling card, and the first sentence of your book. It's the impression clients will first see of you, and usually the thing they have on hand to identify you. It's pretty important to say the least!

I tend to shoot a little more straight on, up front, and clean. With retouching that polishes an image just enough so that we take care of those temporary imperfections but still keep who you are and what makes you yourself.

Photoshoots with me are pretty fast, very painless, and it’s a very low key event. It’s the ideal environment for someone new, and honestly, makeup and hair take longer than posing and shooting.

We generally shoot though 3-4 shirt changes, and stick with one or two styles of hair while changing the makeup as needed to suit the outfits. So come ready with a few different changes, and keep in mind what we may think looks great on a hanger or on a person may not be the best for a headshot - sometimes what we don’t expect is what makes the final cut.

I work with a core group of makeup artists and stylists who I can recommend, or clients can come makeup and hair ready.
